From New York Times Bestselling author, CD Reiss, comes a sexy tale of secrets, intrigue, betrayal, and a love worth crossing a continent for.

Taylor Harden is a man on the edge.

The edge of fame. The edge of untold wealth.

The edge of utter humiliation.

He built an unhackable system, and in front of everyone, it’s hacked.

His reputation goes from king to goat in a split second. Boom. Like that.

Some dude in Barrington, USA (AKA Nowhere) has locked down Taylor’s code, and if he doesn’t get it back, he’s going to be wearing a monkey suit for the rest of his life.

Except, this guy? This hacker from Nowhere? He’s not a guy.

Harper Watson’s all woman. And she has a plan for Taylor, his code, and his body.

Taylor Harnden has come from the slums of nothing with his life to kingdom by hard work. He has created a computer code that he brags in completely unhackable. He has hired the best of the best men, in the world, to ensure his hard work and swear are worth every man hour and penny he spent while not even being able to eat to create this company.

Big unveiling of this code for the Kinf of Code happens. And of course, in true climactic fashion, this code has been busting all to pieces. The unhackable has been hacked. And Taylor is LIVID. He vows to find the “man” (because obviously women aren’t as smart as he is and the only one to hack the unhackable HAD to be a man) that did this and take him down.

A chip found in one of his devices leads Taylor into the middle of nowhere that has all but died. Harper is this gorgeous woman who carries the weight of what is left of this town on her shoulders. Finding out it was indeed a WOMAN that hacked his code, we watch as these two go through a range of emotions (and other roller coasters throughout this amazing read) that lead them both in the same place, feeling the same thing. As always, CD does not fail to bring the heat, and boy do these two have it!! (Keep a glass – or jug – of water handy!) I absolutely love how this sets up the next books in the series, giving us more insight into characters!

About the Author

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
