He thought the fight was over until his heart was on the line.
I thought coming home would solve all my problems. I’ve never been more wrong.
After a decade in the military, I’m more at home in the desert than the mansion where I grew up.
I want to pretend that six months as a captive didn’t change me, but ever since I escaped, I haven’t slept.
Nothing makes sense anymore.
Until I see her.
She looks like an angel, standing in the moonlight in her white nightgown, but the second I touch her, I know she’s all woman.
Sophie’s no angel, but she just might be my salvation. If I can convince her to let down her guard.
Secrets lurk in her green eyes. Secrets that threaten our fragile connection.
Secrets that could steal her from me.
Home was supposed to be safe, but now I’m in the fight of my life to save the woman I love, before I lose everything.
Ivy Layne’s Top 5 Guilty Pleasures
I’m Ivy Layne, author of suspenseful contemporary romance. My current series is the Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaires, featuring the men and women of the notorious Winters family. Gage Winters, the second oldest in the family, is the hero of my latest release, The Billionaire’s Angel. Gage returns to his family after a decade serving in the military to find that nothing about home is what he expected.
Ivy Layne’s Top Five Guilty Pleasures
- Eating all the chocolate after everyone else is asleep.
- Randomly taking the day off to curl up on the couch with a book and an unlimited supply of coffee.
- Emailing/talking to my friends when everyone else thinks I’m working.
- Really, really, long bubble baths while my husband watches the kids.
- My obsession with coffee. I have six different coffee makers, just in my office. It’s a little much, but they each make a different type of coffee and I use them all. I worked as a barista in college and it started a life-long love affair.
About the Author:
Ivy Layne has had her nose stuck in a book since she learned to decipher the English language. Sometime in her early teens, she stumbled across her first Romance, and the die was cast. Though she pretended to pay attention to her creative writing professors, she dreamed of writing steamy romance instead of literary fiction. These days, she’s neck deep in alpha heroes and the smart, sexy women who love them.
Married to her very own alpha hero (who rubs her back after a long day of typing, but also leaves his socks on the floor). Ivy lives in the mountains of North Carolina where she and her other half are having a blast raising two energetic little boys. Aside from her family, Ivy’s greatest loves are coffee and chocolate, preferably together.
Ivy is represented by Sarah Hershman of Hershman Rights Management.
