Emotional, fun, packed with athletes you can’t get enough of Elle Kennedy delivers real love stories. ~ Ava, Guilty Pleasures
He knows how to score, on and off the ice
Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she’s going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.
It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over
Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

I love this series!!! If you haven’t read The Off-Campus series you’re missing out. Now, The Score is the third installment to the series and I feel like I enjoy every book more than the last. It’s a tall order writing a series that people love and continuing to provide unique characters, conflict, and still delivering on all the things that make my heart thump.
I’ve been waiting for Dean (and Tucker) to hit my ereader for-evah. I mean I’ve wanted to know how Elle is gonna redeem this manwhore and make me love him and she did it. Every girl (okay, okay THIS girl) loves the bad boy, and I thought – really believed that was my Dean. But he’s so much more; the social butterfly, life of the party all around FUN character. He’s not the broody one in the corner at all.
Allie, who we met in The Deal as Hannah’s roommate, is also a surprisingly wonderful addition to the series. I know there were a few who expected Dean to be paired up with his nemesis Sabrina, but for me Allie was the perfect girl to balance out Dean’s easy going live for the minute mentality. If you were concerned, please give Allie a chance, I think you’ll love her and Dean.
Every love story has it’s obstacles and The Score ripped my heart out in a few spots. But somehow Elle manages to keep the fun feel of this series while tackling rough topics. Finding resolutions that feel genuine and sweet. So much of NA is riddled with petty disputes and silly villains… but for me the truth of most relationships is you have overcome your own demons… not place that on some secondary characters So for me the struggle makes the story and this one though heartbreaking at times, was real. Real enough I wanted to be there to hug everyone.

This book has it all – great emotional story, likable characters, witty dialogue, and catch the sheets on fire sex. What else could one possibly want in their romance books? ~ Kimber, Guilty Pleasures
The Score by Elle Kennedy is the third book in her Off Campus series. I loved the first two books in this series HARD and as difficult as it is for an author to continue to produce hit after hit, I can happily report that The Score catapulted its way to the number one spot. I seriously did not see that one coming and I couldn’t have been more surprised at how much I loved Dean and Allie. I laughed out loud, I CRIED, swooned and along the way, I fell in love.
Dean and Allie are characters we’ve met in the previous books and the thing that stood out about Dean was how much of a player he was. Not only that, but he loved that he was a player and slept with lots and lots of women. He’s cocky and rich and too good looking, and there was something about him from the other books that put me off. It never. NEVER. crossed my mind that I would fall so hard in love with this guy. Elle Kennedy made me a believer and I’m so on top of the Dean train. Hell, I’m the conductor.
Allie. Wow, something else that surprised me. I could identify with her more than I have any one character in a long time. I loved so much about her but the fact that she kept Dean guessing, never giving him an inch and pulled him in from the start was definitely something that endeared me to her.

I have recommended this series to so many of my book friends. I’ve never had any of them come back and say it wasn’t for them. And hellooooo, HOT hockey players. If you haven’t tried this series, put it at the top of your TBR pile. You won’t regret it.
Dean Sebastian Kendrick Heyward-Di Laurentis is my #1 book boyfriend of the year. I’ll keep you posted if anyone knocks him off the top spot.
