A couple weeks ago DiDi, my road trip partner in crime, and I headed out to San Antonio for a purestdelightawardweekend of fun with some of the other GP crew for Wild Wicked Weekend. Of course during our three and half hour drive we talked life and books! Oh, and of course we had our must stop at Bucee’s (It’s a Texas thing) moment.

While discussing books that we were reading and books we could not wait to come out, I said to DiDi, you know my review for Marie’s new Green Mountain book will be short, sweet and read like this…It is Marie Effing Force, the book is effing AWESOME, GET this EFFING book now and read it!

And I Love Her is book four in the Green Mountain series. I loved this series from book one and my love for these characters continues to grow more and more with each book. And I Love Her is Hunter Abbott’s story. You will fall head over heels with this sexy numbers man. Boy can this man make you swoon with his words!

Hunter Abbott is the oldest of the 10 Abbott children. He is the CFO of the family business and the responsible one. Hunter analyzes everything. But one thing he knows for sure are his feelings for the waitress at the local diner.

Megan Kane’s world turned upside down when she was teenager and her world is turning upside down again with the news that her sister and brother in law have decided to sale the diner and move to France. She has had a crush on Will Abbott for years, but when it is pointed out to her by Will that she is focusing on the wrong brother she starts to see Hunter in a whole new light.

I could not get enough of Hunter and Megan. They complement each other perfectly. They have their struggles, but one thing I love about this series is that the struggles this couple and the other couples from the previous books go through are real life struggles. You find yourself rooting for these characters and falling in love with them and with the town of Butler. There were times when I wanted to scream at Megan, and times I wanted to smack Hunter upside the head. To tell them to get their act together. There are so many wonderful and sweet moments between Hunter and Megan. Hunter knows what he wants and goes after it with all he has. I loved that Hunter saw that he could be responsible CFO Hunter, but still could let loose a little, not plan and analyze everything in his life. It was wonderful is see Megan learn to open up again and let love in. I felt a strong connection to Megan. I struggled right along with her as she learned to open her heart to Hunter and realize that everyone needs and deserves love and happiness. This story will have you laughing, sighing from Hunter’s sexiness and crying.

We also get to check in with the rest of the Abbott crew. Hannah and Nolan are expecting a baby. Will and Cameron get engaged with a little help from Fred the moose. Never thought a moose would make a proposal one of the sweetest proposals ever, but leave it to Marie to make it a perfect moment in the book. We get see a little more of Ella and Charley, which I enjoyed. Of course I am very much looking forward to Ella and Gavin’s story. I think Lincoln and Elmer are going to have a hard time getting these two on the same page and the road to happily ever after.

The Green Mountain series are romance stories written to perfection! Marie Force just has that something special in her writing that you cannot get enough of. With each book this series gets better. You just fall more in love with this family chapter by chapter, book by book. If you have not read Marie Force you truly are missing out on something special.

Happy Reading!!

I fell so into this book I kept swiping the screen to turn the page, and it didn’t turn…looked down topurestdelightaward find myself 100% through the book and I felt like crying. I could have read about Hunter and Megan for days maybe even weeks. Watching Hunter, Mister GQ himself, busting his ass to prove to Megan she is worth loving and is capable of giving love herself was the perfect way to revisit the Abbott’s.

The oldest of ten children Hunter has always looked out for his brothers and sisters while playing things on the safe side for himself. Analyzing and assessing risk is Hunters comfort zone, until Megan takes a risk on him, he doesn’t learn how to venture out of the zone and become unpredictable. Hunter’s love, Megan, is finding out when life throws another curve her direction to hold on tight to a steadfast, predictable, loving and safe Hunter Abbottt. Megan’s previous interaction with the Green Mountain community and the Abbotts, left a lot to be desired, and after reading her story, it’s easy to see why she was that way. We get to catch up with Will & Cameron, Hannah & Nolan, and Colton and Lucy. No one could ever-forgot Elmer, the meddling matchmaker determined to see each of his grandkids happy and in love. Elmer has provided the push needed for Hunter to break through the walls Megan has built. Will he be able to push through those walls before she pushed him away?

I honestly thought Marie had written the best story in the Green Mountain Series with Hannah and Nolan, I was wrong. This story flows so smoothly; the characters are amazing and down to earth. Force’s ability to take a wild animal and weave it into a romance novel is fantastic; it wouldn’t have been the same without Fred. I felt so many emotions while reading, And I Love Her; it proves Marie Force is only getting started. I felt heartbreak for Megan and the cards that life had dealt her. I felt warmth with the whole Abbott family gathering; I love large, loud and loving families. Hope for everyone who has lost a loved one and is trying to process that pain. Anxiously waiting for the upcoming novella along with Gavin and Ella’s story (which promises more heartbreak and a love story worth fighting for). And of course I felt Hunter and Megan’s love story was without a doubt extraordinary!
