ARC Review – I Saw Her Standing There (Green Mountain #3) by Marie Force

Marie is my go to author when I want to escape from real life. She keeps each story fresh and new in her Marie Force way, and I Saw Her Standing There is no different. You may think,..oh this is just another boy and girl from two different worlds story, but trust me it is SO much more. The world and characters Marie brings to life in this series is written to perfection. You become attached to these characters. You can picture yourself in the town of Butler and being a part of this wonderful family. ~ Piper, Guilty Pleasures

Untitled-4Description:
There’s a budding romance on Butler Mountain, but in the hornets’ nest known as the Abbott family, keeping a secret is no easy feat…

Colton Abbott and Lucy Mulvaney have a secret. Colton’s nosy siblings have begun to put the pieces together, but it’s not like Lucy to keep things from those closest to her—especially her best friend, Cameron, who recently moved to Vermont to live with her true love, Will. But Lucy isn’t about to tell Cam she’s having a fling…with Will’s brother.

Flitting between New York and Vermont is exhausting, so Lucy is looking forward to a long weekend with Colton at the Abbott family lake house in Burlington. Too bad Will and Cameron have the same idea, and once Colton and Lucy are caught red-handed (and red-faced), will their clandestine romance lose its appeal or will their secret beginnings be the start of something lasting?

I Saw Her Standing There is book 3 in Marie Forces’s wonderful Green Mountain series. This seriespurestdelightaward is based in Vermont featuring the Abbott family who run the general stone in the small Vermont town they have lived in for generations. This series has it all! Including a sneaky father and grandfather!

I Saw Her Standing There is Colton Abbott’s story. Colton is the family sugaring maker. He has spent his whole life learning how to make the best Vermont Maple Syrup, which is sold in the family owned general store. Colton lives on a mountain with no running water or electricity. He is a true mountain man and does not see his life being any other way until he meets city girl Lucy. And trust me I would give up running water and electricity to live on a mountain with Colton Abbott!

Lucy Mulvaney is the glue that holds her family together. A girl who loves her city life working at the company her and best friend Cameron started together. Now that Cameron has moved to Vermont to live with her boyfriend Will Abbott, Lucy has even more on her plate beside her father, sister and niece.

After Colton and Lucy meet through Will and Cameron, they start a secret affair. One that they have no intentions of letting Colton or Lucy’s family know about. Their secret falls apart when Colton’s father and grandfather decide to give them a little push to come out into the open. But how can a city girl and a mountain man come together to get their happily ever after?

Colton and Lucy have a lot to over come, but with the help of their friends, family and some great humor they will no doubt find their way.

It is no secret that I am a HUGE Marie Force fan. I cannot get enough of her stories. Marie knows how to write a wonderful love story that draws you in. I Saw You Standing There is another home run from Marie Force. I just fall more in love with this family with each page I turn and each book that comes out. I am already counting the day until we finally get to see Hunter Abbott let his tie down! Oh I can only image what Lincoln and Elmer have up their sleeves for buttoned up Hunter and semi-mean girl Megan.
