Spotlight on Ryan Michele

Please welcome Ryan Michele to Guilty Pleasures.

Ryan is one of our new favorite authors, she is a fresh new voice in MC Romances

What gave you the idea for this book??

Ryan: They just talked to me. I actually wrote the book twice and the first time I hated it. Where ever they took me is where the story went.

Wow. Did you just trash the 1st one or did you just re-write it?

Ryan: Funny story there. I pulled a couple of scenes from it—minimal. The rest is just sitting in a file on my computer. It was weird, ya’ll wouldn’t have liked it!

Where do you draw your inspirations from?

Ryan: Real life. Situations and things that pop in my head. Vague huh!! LOL

I’m reading Seduce me now. Do you think you will write a book about Bella?

Ryan: YES! I’m hoping that her and Buzz and Breaker will be after Tug and Blaze! Don’t have a name for their book yet. But Blaze and Tug will be Consume Me

What was your favorite part to write in Seduce Me?

Ryan: My favorite part was when GT got pissed and he & Casey had it out.

What’s your favorite line from either book? (Ravage Me and Seduce Me)

Ryan: I really like this one. (Seduce Me) I don’t know why but it’s the first that stuck out when you asked “Babe. Watching my cum fall out of you, is the sexiest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.” I lick my lips contemplating if I should just throw her back up on the trunk of the car and lick her clean.

Which book was easier to write Ravage Me or Seduce Me? Why?

Ryan: Lord. Ravage Me was easier actually. Princess rolled off me something fierce. I lived totally through her and wanted to be her. I just let the me I wanted to be shine….(well kinda wanted to be, she’s a bit much for me, but you get the point)

So in Bella and the B.Boys book is it basically going to be a ménage or no?

Ryan: I actually haven’t decided that yet. We hear a lot more from Buzz than Breaker. I wonder why that is???? I’m still in the planning stages. I am pretty sure though that book will be pretty sexual and there will definitely be a bit of ménage at least 1…or 2 times

What book was more emotional for you to write Ravage Me or Seduce Me? Both had some pretty emotional things going on

Ryan: SEDUCE ME!!! I have never cried while writing a book before–never! And I balled like a baby when I wrote the scene where the family comes together for them. (I don’t want to spoil it.)

What book are you looking forward to writing the most?

Ryan: Blaze. She’s hot and sexy…and there is so much to her that I can’t wait to dig into!

Do you have a tentative date for Consume Me? Nothing specific just fall or winter, something like that

Ryan: I’m shooting for winter. I have written one paragraph. That is all! YIKES’

Want to share the opening line (from Consume Me) with us?

Ryan: Here’s the first 4 or so…

The light flashes on, shining its heat onto my body. I can feel it everywhere, from the tips of my toes to the top of my head. My barely there clothes leave little protection from the warmth, but they are not intended for that. Their purpose is to entice and leave the audience wanting more.

Do you know how many books you’re going to write in the series?

Ryan: I am not sure. I didn’t know for sure who I was going to write about to be frank. Well I knew Cruz of course… But didn’t know the second until the shooting….and the third was when Princess and Angel were at the strip club and Blaze stuck out. I thought I was going to do one for Shaina….but I don’ t know. I’m not a plotter for the most part. I write what I feel at the moment.

What made you want to write about a MC?

Ryan: I LOVE MC books. Love them – like they are my favorite books to read. And of course I watch SOA like everyone else. I sat down and started typing and Princess was born. The club then began to form.

Personal question Ryan – if you were stuck on an island and could only take one book with you, what book would it be?

Ryan: Really?? 1 Freaking book? It would have to be Kristen Ashley’s Motorcycle Man. And it’s not because I write MC… cause I loved that book before I started writing. It is just a go to book for me. I can read it over and over and over and never get tired of the words on the paper.

I absolutely loved Ravage and Seduce Me and I adored Harlow, she’s so different from other female MC characters. Did a particular person inspire her character?

Ryan: I don’t have one specific person that inspired her. She came from my gut and itched to get out.

Are you doing any signings this year?

Ryan: Yes! It’s called Down and Dirty! The info is on my blog

About the Author

I’m a mom and a wife who works full time. I have a huge obsession with collecting paperbacks and reading. Becoming an author, wasn’t exactly what I set out to do, it just happened. I needed something to help me get rid of the feeling of being ‘just a mom’ or ‘just a wife’ that was consuming me and writing became that outlet. My book(s) cover some tough issues which are hard for some readers to digest. I am grateful for every single one of you who read my books.

Rhayne and Piper’s reviews of SEDUCE ME and RAVAGE ME

Official Seduce Me ebook

Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage Motorcycle family since the day she was abandoned by her mother and thrown into her father’s lap. Always seeing herself as an outsider, she spent her whole life trying to fit in, but never really succeeding. When she loses her beloved father, the utter aloneness engulfs her, leaving her searching for solace in the one man she’s always craved. Confessing her love for him only results in devastation when he pushes her away. Convinced she needs a fresh start, she leaves everything behind in order to mend her broken heart and begin building a future without him.

Gage Thomas (G.T.) Gavelson fell in love with his Angel when he was just a pint sized kid. Both beautiful and smart, he always felt she deserved so much better than him. Growing up beside her in the club only continued to test his will power, until one night, he gave into temptation. Realizing he couldn’t allow himself to hold her back from the life she deserved, he pushed her away, allowing her to believe she would never be enough for him. Letting her go had been the hardest thing he’d ever done. Even though he’d thought it’d been the right thing to do, not a day goes by that misery doesn’t consume him for it.

When a tragic shootout occurs, everything changes as once again their lives are intermingled. When you find your way back to the one person you are meant to be with, forgiveness should be easy. But sometimes, we hurt each other too much to ever be able to forgive.

Is their love strong enough to heal their pain?

Ryan Michele is quickly becoming one of my favorite MC series writers. I could not put her first book in the Ravage MC series, Ravage Me down. While it took a little longer for me to get into Seduce Me, once I was sucked into the story, that was it. Casey and G.T.’s story will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. I cried, I laughed, and best of all, I fell even more in love with Ravage MC.

Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage MC family, but she always felt like an outsider. Not truly part of the family. Her father Bam, a highly respected brother, raised her without her mother. Casey always felt like the MC put up with her out of respect for her father. That they felt obligated to care for her after her father died.

Casey’s one rule was never sleep with any brother, because she never wanted to be seen as a club momma like her mother was. But, she fell in love with Gage Thomas at an early age and there was just no stopping fate. And Casey and G.T are meant to be together. Casey and G.T. have a brief affair that changes Casey in so many ways. Even when she decides to leave Sumner to attend school, she is pulled back into Ravage, where she belongs.

G.T. has been raised and groomed for the Ravage life. He will one day be VP, then President. G.T. knows that Casey is the one for him, but does not feel that he is worthy of her. He feels she deserves a better life than the one he can give her. G.T. pushes Casey away the only way he knows how, and breaks not only her heart, but her. When G.T. is badly hurt, Princess calls Casey home. G.T. begins to realize that his life is no life without his Angel. He will do whatever he has to do to prove to Casey that she belongs with him and Ravage. Her family.

I am really enjoying seeing Ryan Michele grow and develop her MC world and characters. I have read a LOT of MC stories and series, and Ms. Michele is truly making her mark in the MC genre. I am hoping that we get Tug’s story next. And if not Tug, I would be happy with Buzz. Ms. Michele writes such great characters that I could really not complain with whomever is next. If you are looking for a new MC series with heart, action, suspense, a great story and of course some HOT SMEXIN’ , then do not pass up Ravage MC.

Happy Reading!

The morning air strikes across my skin as I step out of the clubhouse slowly walking to my car. I’ve had to say good-bye to Harlow twice now, but this one is by far the hardest. The weight on my shoulders is bogging me so far down; my legs find each step difficult. I do not want to leave. This is my home, the only life I’ve ever known.

And my only connection to my father Bam, but it’s what must be done.

I place my hand on my stomach closing my eyes and breathing in deep the air rushing through my lungs. It’s funny how life repeats itself. I think that it’s Dr. Phil that says ‘past behavior predicts future behavior’ and to hell if that isn’t the truth.

Walking up to my white and red Chevy, I slide in slowly turning the key into the ignition, the car roaring to life. My eyes focus on the garage and my heart sinks as I slouch in my seat, the weight becoming too much. Hours I’ve spent inside that building learning, but the best were the ones I spent with my Dad side by side under the hood of this car. He spent such meticulous time teaching me everything he could, always patient and answering the thousands of questions one at a time. It was the best time of my life.

Growing up in the club had its difficulties, but with each challenge that has been thrown in my face, I came out a stronger woman because of it.

I never knew my egg donor of a mother, who happened to be a club momma. As soon as I popped out of her stomach, she handed me over to Bam and never looked back. I don’t even know her name and at this point in my life have no intention of ever finding out.

I rub my stomach and disappointment scatters through my body. How could someone just dump their child and never contact them again? Never want to watch them grow up? The thought is just inconceivable to me.

Even though it doesn’t make sense, it’s what mine did. Bam never had a choice on whether to raise me or not, but I never once felt like a burden on him. True, my life growing up was very different from the life of my other schoolmates, but I loved it and wouldn’t change a thing.

For me, being strapped to a Harley before I could walk and attending parties where guys smoked cigarettes, drank booze and kissed barely clothed women was the norm. Watching fights break out over stupid shit almost every single day is the way of the club. Don’t get me wrong, I was always cared for, mostly by Bam, but when he was busy, the throng of club mommas entered in and out of my life to temporarily care for me, none ever staying long enough to form any kind of connection to.

Bam was there though as much as he could be. He’d have tea parties with me and play this wrestling tickle game that always sent me into fits of laughter. I loved him…I still love him. His life lessons were the best education a little girl could have. I never had to ask him, it was like he knew what I needed when I needed it.

When the time came for boys, he always told me that no man is good enough for my baby. At the time, I rolled my eyes, but now I crave to hear those words come back out of his mouth.

I hang my head down to my chest willing the tears to stay at bay. I will not cry. I’m stronger than that.

Bam was able to do it, raise me that is. Even with the struggles, he did it. I can too, but in order to, I need to get away from here and find out who I am. I need to do better for myself and for my baby, my family. I want a life here, but unfortunately that is not possible right now. It’s not my choice, but that of my baby’s father.

Even though he doesn’t know about this precious gift I have growing inside of me, he’s made it perfectly clear that he doesn’t want a life with me anywhere in it. It seems he’s too interested in chasing pussy to ever settle for just one. It guts me and shreds my heart that I’m not good enough. But I’m learning to accept it, even if it kills me. He left little room not to.

But I need to get myself together and stop with the ever impending pity party of poor me. I am not a poor me kind of woman. Thanks to Bam, I’m a grab life by the balls, deal with the consequences and make myself a future kind of a woman. That is what I am doing by leaving. I have every intention of coming back, every intention of introducing my child to his father and every intention of making my relationship with Harlow work. As soon as I have my head on straight.

Lifting my shoulders, I put the car into drive and set off for the new life that I have planned for my baby and I.

Ravage Me delivered a hell of a steamy, original, badass biker chick book. This story offered a completely different take on any MC book I have read in the past, and I absolutely loved it.

Harlow is the VP’s daughter of the Ravage MC. She has been raised in this lifestyle her whole life. She knows the MC way of life and she knows that women have their place. She has vowed to never get involved with a brother, she will never be considered a club whore. That is until she is released from behind bars and meets Cruz. Her well thought out, life-long plan quickly goes to hell.

Cruz has become a member of the MC in the two years Harlow has been inside. Once he lost his mom to cancer he found a new family with his brothers. He has heard stories about the club Princess, but nothing can prepare him for the real deal. He is quick to claim her as his own. This begins his biggest challenge; getting her to realize she is a claimed woman and give in to her deepest fears and desires.

I absolutely loved the relationship between these two. She is a very strong character who is capable of holding her own in any situation. Cruz accepts and loves how tough she is, mentally and physically. She tries her hardest to be the kind of ol’ lady Cruz will be proud of. They really work together to be what the other needs and wants. Another thing I loved about their relationship was how committed they were to each other. They stayed strong throughout the entire book. Their faithfulness was never an issue in this story. They had plenty of other issues to keep them busting their asses, no time to worry about that too.

I am a big fan of adding kids into a romance story. The addition of Cruz’s son, Cooper, just added another layer of spark. His story not only added new drama to the storyline, but with him being included it lets you see the caring and nurturing side of Harlow. This badass, sexy, strong, sassy, bitchy woman has another side to her that is reserved for this little boy she loves and claims as her own.

This was a great start to what is guaranteed to be an exciting series. Strong characters, non-stop action, suspense, MC revenge, and then throughout all the drama is a deep burning love story wrapped around it all.
