Will and Cameron’s story is just….magic. ~ Piper, Guilty Pleasures
Hoping to take the magic of the island and move it to the mountains with the Abbot family, purveyors of the odd and hard to find relics of a time long gone by in small-town Vermont. Hope you’ll come with me to the Green Mountains! Watch for the first book in the series in early 2014!
The family-run Green Mountain Country Store is cherished by locals as a reminder of simpler times. The Abbott children are determined to keep it that way—but their father has different plans…
When Cameron Murphy heads to Vermont to build a website for a new client, she imagines a more relaxing trip than she gets. After wrecking her car by colliding with the town moose, she meets the most handsome hero she’s ever seen. Unfortunately, her savior, Will Abbott, is also the son of her client—and he wants nothing to do with the new website or the city girl creating it.
For all Will cares, Cameron can march her fancy boots right out of town and out of his family’s business. But he can’t seem to get her out of his head. As his family’s dispute heats up, so does the chemistry between the two, leaving them wondering if simple is better after all—especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

All You Need Is Love is the first book in Marie Force’s new Green Mountain series. I have been chomping at the bit for this one to come out. Of course my expectation were high for this book, and they were met and then some. This new series focuses on the Abbott family. There are ten Abbott children, and yes I am crossing my fingers that we get ten books! I thought NO one could compete with my Gansett Island boys, but man oh man do the Abbott boys give them a run for their money! I will just have to say that right now it is a tie.
Will Abbott was born and raised in Butler Vermont. Will and his family own The Green Mountain Country Store. The store has been in his family for generations. Will and his siblings who run the store are happy with the way things are. They don’t feel like they need anything like a website to bring in business. Will’s dad Lincoln feels like a website is just what the store needs. He goes behind his children’s back to bring in a web designer. Will comes to see his old man just might know what he is talking about.
Cameron Murphy is a city girl through and through. She owns her own web design company and has come to Vermont at the request of Lincoln Abbott. Cameron’s dad and Lincoln are good friends from college, which is why she knew she could not say no to Lincoln’s request. Cameron’s dad may be one of the wealthiest men on earth, but she has never asked him for his help with her company. Cameron needs this new job to keep her company going.
Will and Cameron’s story is just….magic. You totally fall in love with the Abbott family right along with Cameron. You travel with Cameron on her journey as she finds the family she always wanted and craved as a little girl. You are intrigued by every Abbott you meet, along with other characters in the book. I loved that each chapter begins with words of wisdom from Will’s grandfather Elmer. What a character Elmer is. I really hope that somewhere out there Elmer is a real person. We get some of the back story of Hannah Abbott who has her story told in book two, I Want To Hold Your Hand. This is a truly heartwarming story, which will have you laughing and maybe shed a tear or two. After only a few pages in, I knew that this series was going to be a must read. I practically smiled through the whole book. Marie Force does it again with this one.
