Ladies I can hardly contain myself!! Jace Seymour has stopped by GP for an exclusive interview….. *drool* If you haven’t heard, Jace is the newest member of Sinners and an amazing talent on the bass guitar! I’m so glad you were able to hang with me before your next show.
Ava: Jace, since you’re the new guy in the band, can you tell me how you lucked into this gig?
Jace: It’s a very long story. And it wasn’t all luck. I tried a lot of different things to catch the band’s attention. I even dated a band member’s sister for a while. Anything to get close to them. Nothing seemed to work. They already had a bassist—Jon Mallory. I met Trey’s brother Dare while Sinners was playing at a House of Blues. I sat at Dare’s table—he was by himself—and pretended like I didn’t know who he was. We started talking about music—the only thing I really like to talk about—and I let it slip that I play bass guitar. We were in agreement that their bassist at the time, Jon, needed to be replaced. Jon was stoned out of his mind that night. After that, Dare and I hung out a few times. Jammed at his house. Dare’s a really great guy. And a talented guitarist. He taught me a few techniques. He said I had a lot of potential. Eventually, Sinners kicked Jon out of the band and Dare arranged for me to audition with them as his replacement. Did I mention that Dare is a really great guy? I owe him a lot. Anyway, the audition went okay. I somehow impressed Sinners enough to hire me.
Ava: Are you shy as on stage? I just don’t get to see enough of your angel-face in concert!
Jace:I just don’t want to get in the way of Sed, Brian or Trey. They deserve the limelight. I don’t need it.
Ava: Did you always dream of playing bass for a rock band like Sinners?
Jace: Just for Sinners. They changed my life. I never wanted to play with anyone else.
Ava: That’s so sweet. Can you tell me anything about Sinners next album?
Jace: I actually wrote a few bass riffs on this one. With Eric’s help. Eric is amazing. I think it’s their best album yet. The band is trying new things, including using a piano in a couple songs. I think the bass riffs are a lot stronger. I hope people like it. I’m kind of worried that fans won’t like the way I’ve changed how the bass lines sound.
Ava: I can’t wait to hear it live! So, on the tour bus, have there been any crazy practical jokes you can tell me about?
Jace: If our drummer is on the bus, there’s always a practical joke. This one time, Eric replaced all of Trey’s cherry suckers with strawberry ones. You wouldn’t think that would be such a big deal, but after Trey had licked every single one them, he stuck them all in Eric’s hair while he was sleeping. It seems a lot of things end up in Eric’s hair.
Ava: How many tattoos do you have? Can I see one?
Jace: Around twelve or so. Which one do you want to see?
Ava: *giggle* why ALL of them of course! How do you spend your free time when Sinners isn’t on tour? If I wanted to run into you on the street, where should I… stalk?
Jace: I go to the gym a lot. I like to work the punching bag and box. Sometime I go to the beach and just watch the waves.
Ava: I’m gonna have to seriously rethink my only working out at home… Are you seeing anyone right now?
Jace: I do have this one woman who I think about a lot. I’m not sure if she really likes me though.
Ava: Can you autograph me, *right here*?
Jace: Um, whoa! Put that thing away. *blush*

Jace joined Sinnera after being recommended by Dare Mills (the lead guitarist of Exodus End and Trey Mills’s older brother) to replace Sinners’ previous bassist Jon Mallory. While very skilled on bass guitar, little is known about Jace. He remains tight-lipped about his past, his family situation, and his home life.
Jace is single and has no children.

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil.
Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart.
When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds.

I had seen the book before but until I saw the cover I didn’t connect the interview with the book. That was great how it was changed up, made me interested again without seeing the cover.

Great interview. Need more. I think what makes rock stars so hot, is their talent to play or sing. For me anyway, I am fascinated to sit and watch someone play a guitar. I love to hear the stories behind how they started their careers and where there inspirations come from. Thanks for the chance to win.

I enjoyed your interview, thanks! I think what makes rockstars seem so hot is how they act on stage. They have a confindence and radiate a sexuality that permiates and is contagious to their audience. I would love to win a copy of Hot Ticket, thanks for the chance!

I’ve always liked watching bassists best…I think it’s because of that tendon between the thumb and wrist that’s so prominent when they pluck the strings. It’s stronger than a woman’s, because it’s so developed, but also more vulnerable, because you can see it…yes, indeed.

I think some of the things that make rock stars so sexy is that they have such talent, their music moves you both physically and emotionally, and they are generally seen as a little bit of a bad-boy
I know when I was in my teens, my walls were covered with posters of the sexy rockers that I crushed on.
