Review – Dealing With the Dead (The Thompson Agency #1) by Toni Griffin

I love watching the connection between Noah and Jayden grow. ~ Guilty Pleasures

dwdtgDescription:
Jayden Thomson is special. Not only is he a necromancer but he is also a necromancer with more powers than anyone else in the country.

This is lucky for Noah Michaels when he walks into the Thompson Agency and finds out the sexy little man with blue streaked hair is the only one who can take his case.

When it’s discovered Noah is Jayden’s mate, will his powers get him into more trouble than he’s worth?

So I saw the cover and knew I had to read this book, then I read the blurb and I really knew I had to read this book. I remember at the time I was watching one of my favorite shows Long Island Median and all I could think of was; yeah it’s like that but with men!

Jayden Thompson is a necromancer but he is also a necromancer with more powers than anyone, even his family, knows about. He hides his extreme powers from his parents and his brothers fearing they might treat him differently. Jayden is the youngest of seven and as with any family, being the youngest; he’s treated as the baby.

When Noah walks into Jayden’s family business needing a necromancer with Jayden’s powers the men feel an instant connection. Noah’s brother died while in the middle of writing a book and Noah needs Jayden so he can talk to his brother and finish the book.

The relationship between the men develops quickly as it often does between mates but their connection is unmistakable. Noah takes such good care of Jayden on nights when his power drains him, I love watching the connection grow.

An unexpected turn of events makes Jayden lose control of his powers and adds great danger to the story.
