Breaking Up With the Alpha is a book that both ripped my heart out and put it back together! I have LOVED Marco and Nicky from the moment we met them in book one, and to go through this book with them was so hard! Many tears from me for this book!
Nicky’s life is perfect. His mate loves him just as he is, and they have built a life that is great. But all 
that changes when Marco gets really ill. Faced with the possibility of Marco dying makes Nicky want to grab onto him tighter. One problem with that though. Marco has no memory of Nicky.
Marco wakes up in the hospital, and doesn’t know why he is drawn to the beautiful blond man at his beside. A part of him wants to protect him, and he doesn’t know why. He is shocked to discover that Nicky is his bloodmate, because he has absolutely no memory of him. He is shocked by some of the changes in his pack as well, and is determined to change some of those things back. Can Marco recover his memory before he destroys the life he and Nicky have been building??
This is book brought me to my knees! I was crushed right along with Nicky. I also wanted to hug Marco; because you knew he was doing what he thought was best for him, Nicky, and the pack. BUT you also want to beat him over the head at the same time!!!! I think even though it was the toughest to read in the series this one is my favorite so far. I really hope Shannon has some more for us up her sleeves!!
