Once again Kat Martin has given us nail biting greatness!! This is a great book and series! I highly recommend each and every one of them. If you read Against the Sun then you know there is some serious chemistry brewing between Sabrina and Alex, but that Rina fights it with everything in her.
Sabrina Eckhart’s life has taken a different turn with the drop out of the stock market fallout. She 
went from a successful stockbroker to having to sell of some of her favorite things to make ends meet. Things may change if she can prove that there really is silver on the land she has just inherited from her uncle. She just has to get help from the one person she has been resisting since the moment she met him, Alex Justice.
Alex agrees to taker her out to the land and fly her around looking for the mine that she knows has to be there and it is a good thing too, because with any other pilot she might not have lived through the helicopter crash in the middle of her west Texas desert land. Alex does his best to resist his attraction to her as well, because he knows that she is the kind of woman that you spend a life time with not just the night. When they finally do get home to Houston Rina keeps having “accidents” that could take her life, and Alex isn’t going to let anything keep him from keeping her safe.
This is one of those stories of an absolutely great man protecting the woman he doesn’t even know he loves. I love how Kat doesn’t gloss over the secondary story in these books. There is a great love story with Alex’s sister and his good friend that also plays a major role in this book. I’m not a person that usually seeks out the suspenseful genre, but I will jump at a Kat Martin book because she doesn’t put the love story too far in the background of the suspense. I hope you guys like this one as much as I do!!
