Empty Net Blog Tour

Win books and swag from Toni Aleo!

Have you read this addicting series yet?   It comes highly recommended from six of the Guilty Pleasures Review Crew.

EMPTY NET Description:
Definition of an Empty Net: When a team pulls the goalie for an extra attacker, desperately seeking a goal.

Audrey Parker was in a horrible place.

She hated her job, her sister was getting married and moving out, but worst of all, she was in love with a total jerk. No matter what she did, every guy she met hurt her. All she wanted was her happily ever after. Her Prince Charming. Her Lucas Brooks! She didn’t know how to change her life but she knew she needed too.
Feeling like she was about to hit rock bottom, Audrey wakes up next to Tate Odder.

Tate Odder had lost everything.

After being brought up from the Assassins’ farm team, the Florida Rays to the Nashville Assassins, Tate hopes he’ll forget everything he has lost. He doesn’t. Each day gets harder to live in a place he doesn’t know. Even being the first rookie goalie to shut out an opposing team three times during the Lord Stanley Cup Finals, he still felt empty. With the loss of his parents and sister still heavy on his heart, Tate isn’t sure how to live like everything is okay.

But when he wakes up beside Audrey Parker, things start to change. She turns his life upside down with her kooky sense of humor and her bright clothing. She is intelligent and beautiful, and for once, he doesn’t feel empty.

Will Audrey be the person to fill the holes in Tate’s heart, making him whole again?

Or will another player ruin everything, leaving him feeling forever like an empty net?

  1. Love a sports themed romace, the athletes are always so dominant and fight hard not to fall in love so when they do it’s powerful. Also they are so delicious in the body department!!! Athletes have to take care of themselves so they are well written in that area which is great to read, thank you authors! As a sports fan they interest me simply for that fact. I have seen a hockey game and it was fun, brutal and definitely kept your blood pumping waiting!! I could see why it was addictive to the fans.

  2. I so want to read the series. I just found out about them in the last month and they are on my TBR list. I love sports and cowboy books the best. Thank you!

  3. I love everything about hockey…the pace of the game, the gear, the variety of appealing body types among its male players, the camaraderie of the teams, the raging homoeroticism in the game (post-goal hugs! helmet bumps accompanied by long gazes into the goalie’s eyes!), the players’ personalities…sigh. Lousy NHL lockout…this book may be all the hockey I get for a while!

  4. I love the game of hockey because it’s a tough, fast, rough sport. I like sports themed romances because I’m a big sports fan. Most of all, I love hockey players because they’re international! The teams have cute guys from all over the northern hemisphere! Whar I don’t like are lockouts & I’m bummed that we have to put up with one again. I guess Toni’s books will keep me happy until the season starts!

  5. I love hockey themes books because there isn’t a better sport on the face of the earth. Toni’s talent for writing just makes it even better!

  6. Congrats on the new release. This book sounds fantastic. Can’t wait to read it. I love the sportsmanship, camaraderie, athleticism, and the rough play.

Great giveaway thanks for the chance!

  9. What do I love about sports themed books…the fact that they feature sexy athletes and also that I get a peek into the locker room!

  10. I love sports themed romances although I am still not well-versed in the ins-and-outs of hockey… I love the determination and the drive of the players – very attractive. Usually doesn’t hurt that they have great bodies 😉

  13. I love stories about athletes, they are always so alpha. I have empty net in my TBR pile, and reading this post makes me put it to the top of the list. I hope the season isn’t canceled, and maybe we can get down and see Ms Aleo on the glass watching a game.

  14. I have always loved hockey. It’s a fast paced, hard hitting sport. Hockey romances are right up my alley. I’ve long fantasized about having my own hockey god. There’s nothing like a hot hockey player to warm my blood.

  15. Love anything to do with professional sports. Looking forward to reading this series. 🙂
