Jami Davenport continues the saga with professional football player, Wyatt and his once-a-year fling with Mara. But, he wants more – will Mara give it to him?
Wyatt and Mara met in this exact park 4 years ago and started a once-a-year fling when he came to town. Wyatt and Alex are struck speechless when they find Dmitri and Mara sharing their love in public. What ensues is Wyatt pushing Mara’s boundaries while two people sit on a park bench arguing over who is getting custody of the cat – “Horatio prefers me. You won’t be taking him anywhere.” “I’ll fight you tooth and nail for custody.” (Mara) “Their fighting over custody of the cat?” (Wyatt) “Honey, I’m more interested in gaining custody of your pussy not theirs.” That scene just had me laughing out loud! Then, being caught by the patrolman – hysterical.
Taking it Outside
Cristal Ryder brings us Valerie and Tyler. Two fun-loving, outdoor people who love hiking through the park together. Today, Valerie decides to surprise Tyler and has a very wicked afternoon planned. Little did they know that Dmitri and Mara would set the pace for their fun-filled afternoon.
While waiting for Tyler in the little clearing in the park, Valerie takes out her binoculars to watch for wildlife. What she finds is life at it’s wildest – Dmitri and Mara at the overlook. When Tyler shows up, Valerie is more than ready for her afternoon to begin. They decide to follow Dmitri and Mara with the binoculars and mimic their every move. (Tyler)“Here. Why don’t you try to find them this time?” (Valerie) “Ah, sweet. He’s eating her.” Val lowered the binoculars and lay back, giving Ty a pointed look. She spread her legs and smiled. “Guess what you have to do?” And it continues from there climaxing in some surprise guests for dinner!
A Whole New World
Miranda and Ross are next in this wonderful series of short stories. Here, Cassandra Carr gives us a little shy and a little inhibited Miranda letting go of her wilder side after spying Dmitri and Mara in the lean-to. When Ross catches her spying, it turns into some naughty fun – in the car, in the back-yard and finally back in the park.
Miranda finds out she has a fetish (or two) – voyeurism and being an exhibitionist – and Ross is more than happy to oblige her in finding out how far she will really go. Ross, of course, never felt that he could tell his Miranda that he has always wanted to try this: (Excerpt from “A Whole New World”) “Are you into voyeurism?” Maybe if she turned the focus to him she wouldn’t have to answer that question herself. “Yeah, always have been.” She licked her suddenly-parched lips. After clearing her throat, she asked, “Why didn’t you ever mention it?” His smile turned to a rueful smirk. “Exactly when do you bring up something like that? Over brunch on Sunday? ‘Hey, by the way, hon, if you ever wanna fuck in public, I’m in.’” One of his dark brown eyebrows rose.
This little excerpt lead to some fun times with Miranda and Ross and a better understanding of their lives together.
In the Open
The final story in the book brings us Jaid (Mara’s friend) and Alex (the other professional football player). So, as you know, Alex was with Wyatt when they ran across Dmitri and Mara and Jaid is more than willing to pick up where they left off. But, they bring it to a whole new level of Public Display of Eroticism!
Jaid’s plans for her once-a-year pairing with Alex go completely awry when they spot Dmitri and Mara. But, the handcuffs and blindfold will have to wait until later. Their little stint in the park starts at a picnic table and ends in the stream with applause from the audience that they have acquired. Another little excerpt from Public Display of Eroticism: “She held onto him until the tremors subsided. Alex pulled her off the rock and into deeper water until they were up to their necks. She clung to him, her body sated and her limbs weak. She didn’t want to leave, but the cold water and a smattering of applause penetrated her blissful fog. She’d forgotten about the frat boys. Alex looked up and saluted them while Jaid smiled. “
Public Displays of Eroticism was a wonderful, fun book written by three great authors. I had a twinkle in my eye through the stories and loved the way they all lead into each other and tied to “Back to Nature” to each of them. Master Dmitri and Mara just set the tone and pace for the book and each story took it to another level. Take my advice, if you a looking for a book to read while sitting next to the pool or on the beach – grab this. It is a quick, fun read that will have you looking around to see if you would be seen creating you own PDA. Oh, yea, by the way – they all have their own HEA’s! It wouldn’t be a Guilty Pleasure’s review if they didn’t! Enjoy…..
