It’s finally here. Springtime! This is one of my favorite times of the year because it’s not too cold and definitely not too hot. And for someone who lives in Texas that’s a big plus. Summer here can be brutal.
This is the time of year when I love to open every window in the house and let the fresh air, layered with the scent of wildflowers, inside.
Some of my favorite memories are of Springtime. Growing up, I always knew when Springtime hit I could go barefoot outside. There’s nothing better than feeling the green grass beneath your feet.
But I’d say my best memory of Spring didn’t happen in Texas. It took place in Colorado a few years back.
My husband and I went to our cabin in Colorado early one Spring. It was mid-May. Here in Texas it had already begun to get warm, but in Colorado, well, there was snow everywhere. People were actually snowboarding on one of the mountains and my husband and I made a snowman.
Okay, so you’re probably thinking that’s not much of a Spring memory, but for a Texan who rarely sees snow at all, it was perfect.
One lucky commenter will win an e-book copy of either Killer Moves or Worth Staying For. All you have to do is post your favorite Spring memory and I’ll select a winner at random on 5/10.
Here are blurbs from each of those books.

They’re a match made in the hallowed halls of Quantico. Until Death comes knocking…
Six years ago, Kara Bryant tapped into the mind of a serial killer—and nearly became his last victim. Her FBI colleague and lover, Davis Martin, put the murderer behind bars, then devastated her with his abrupt rejection. Worse, the vivid nightmares that followed her to her desert retreat have recently taken a fresh, frightening turn.
She should have foreseen that Davis would turn up. She’s just not sure her still-broken heart can take the strain.
Davis thought he’d made the right decision for everyone involved in a case that almost ended in disaster, thanks to his mistakes. But with a new string of killings that one by one is taking out the women of his past, suddenly he wonders if he let the real Death Angel get away. Kara is the only one who can help him nail the bastard for good this time—if she can forgive him.
He wasn’t expecting the woman he never stopped loving to love him back. Nor is he prepared to come face-to-face with Kara’s secret. One that raises the stakes impossibly high.
This book has been previously published and has been revised and expanded from its original release.
Warning: Contains one smokin’ hot FBI agent, a strong-willed psychic heroine who can more than give him a run for his money, and one nasty killer who will keep you up way into the night.
Dr. Jordan Scott is banking everything, including her life, that she can simply disappear into thin air, forget the nightmare she left behind in New York, and never be found again by her ex- fiance Caesar Santiago or his powerful family.
Detective Riley Donavan believes the pretty doctor knows more than she’s telling him. Can they work together to solve the murder of her brother, or will they end up the next victims of the crime lord?
All the best…
