I just love when the quiet, preppy, nerd type let their freak flag fly =)

It was meant to be a one-night stand. One night of passion. Scorching hot. Then Beth Cantrell and Eric Donovan were supposed to go their separate ways. That’s the only reason he lied about his name, telling her he was really his wild younger brother. Hiding his own identity as the conservative Donovan. The “good” one.
But passion has its own logic, and Eric finds he cannot forget the sable-haired beauty with whom he shared one night of passion. When Beth discovers that Eric has lied, however, she knows he cannot be trusted. Her mind tells her to forget the blue-eyed charmer. If only every fiber of her being did not burn to call him back.
In Real Men Will we finally get to find out why Eric feels the need to be perfect and in control oeverything. I love that straightlaced upstanding Eric has a taste for kink that he never knew about until he met up with Beth again. Beth has major hang ups when it comes to having sex, and finds that with Eric she can just let go, even though she can’t trust him. There is a lot of hot lovin in Real Men Will. IMO when you combine the percent of the book that deals with Jamie and Eric fighting and working their problems out and of Beth and her father working their problems out you are looking at about 50% of the book, the other 50% is actually Beth and Eric’s hot sex and the development of their relationship,
I absolutely love the Donovans. There is a whole lot emotion in this series and the sex is hot. I do have to admit I was a little upset that the series left me feeling more like they were HFN instead of an HEA. It could be because I am a hopeless romantic and don’t feel like I get that sense of HEA without an acutal “will you marry me” in my books. But that’s just my lil’ quirk. I STRONGLY recommend this series. I did get a wonderful warm, fuzzy feeling for the healing the Donovan siblings get by the end of Real Men Will.
I feel like the Donovans are friends of mine and will miss reading about them. I would LOVE to see a Donovan Brewery Christmas or something like that, where we can see how the siblings and their loves are doing. I want to see each of them so blissfully married and maybe starting families =)
